calendar of mine..

Finally this is my calendar look like

for the children picture. i take the picture from the internet. to transfer the picture, i import the picture inside the AI and i live trace it and use technical drawing to get the effect.

To put word and date

for this part. i use the type tools to write "selamat hari raya...." i click at the tools. go to the bottom of the mosque and drag it along the bottom are. i use book antique as the font. 35 size of the word.

 the result is like that. the word is on the bottom of the mosque.

for the number i use the the type tools vertical to put the number going down like the picture above. for the other number i still use the type tools to add the number.

 after that, import some mosque picture. i use Pen tool to get the shape of the mosque. use selection tool to move the shape and transfer it on the other page just like below.

 i put it just like the picture.next step is to do the other one shape of the mosque.right click the shape that already have. re size the shape  by smaller it more than the original. less up the opacity to 31. and use selection tools to put it at the back original mosque. example like the next picture.

How to do it

1) firstly, i take the background picture from my laptop fail. i import it to the layer and drag it as the same as the size of the calendar.

Second Assignment..Calender Design

In this assignment, your task is to create a calendar based on a festive season like Christmas, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and so on. In other words, you are to create a calendar based on the month the festival fall into. For example, Christmas will be in the month of December, Chinese New Year will be in the month of Feb (in 2010), Hari Raya will be in the month of September.

i take 'Hari Raya' as my idea to create the calendar.
